Vialume Terms of Use

Agreement

These Terms apply when you use the Vialume mobile application or website. Vialume is provided by Park Tech Systems in Western Australia. By using Vialume, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Adults only

Vialume is intended for adults aged 18 years and over. You must be at least 18 to use the app or purchase Vialume Plus.

Not medical advice or a medical device

Vialume is a personal tracking tool, not a regulated medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor disease; provide medical advice; or recommend medications or doses. Guidance in the app is general information only. Always follow your prescriber's instructions and consult a qualified medical professional about medication, symptoms, side effects, or health decisions. Do not use Vialume for an emergency.

Your records and device

You are responsible for checking that entries, reminders, exports, and reports are accurate before relying on or sharing them. Reminders can be delayed or missed because of device settings, permissions, battery management, time-zone changes, or operating system behaviour. Keep any backup or export you need.

Vialume stores health records in app-private storage on your device. Vialume has no user account or Vialume cloud sync. Your operating system's backup service may copy app-private data according to your device settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Vialume Plus subscriptions

Vialume's critical tracking features remain free. Vialume Plus unlocks the optional extras described on the purchase screen, such as reminders, doctor-ready PDF reports, backup features, Progress Photo comparison, and support for additional Active Medications. Available features can vary by platform.

  • The monthly or annual price and billing period are shown by your app store before purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your app store before renewal.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
  • You can manage or cancel through your app store's subscription settings. Deleting Vialume does not cancel a subscription.
  • After cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by the app store and applicable law.
  • Price changes are handled under the app store's rules, including any required notice or consent.

Vialume uses the app store and RevenueCat to verify your anonymous Vialume Plus entitlement and restore purchases. They do not receive your health records from Vialume.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app or website, interfere with their operation, attempt to bypass purchase or security controls, reverse engineer them except where the law permits, or use them in a way that infringes another person's rights.

Ownership and licence

Park Tech Systems and its licensors retain ownership of Vialume, including its software, design, and branding. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and the rules of the store from which you obtained it.

For an iOS download, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement is the App Store licence agreement. These Terms explain Vialume-specific services and subscriptions and supplement that agreement. Apple's agreement controls if the two conflict to the extent required.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Material changes that affect a paid subscription will be handled consistently with app-store rules and applicable law.

Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, Park Tech Systems is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by inaccurate user entries, missed device notifications, or decisions made contrary to professional medical advice.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Vialume changes. The date above shows the latest version. If a material change requires notice or consent under applicable law or app-store rules, we will provide it.
