Do I need an account to use a GLP-1 tracker?
Not with Vialume. Your health records live in app-private storage on your phone, with no Vialume account or cloud sync. Your device's backup service may copy app data according to your settings. Plus access checks use an anonymous purchase-service identifier, not a Vialume account. Our privacy guide explains the distinction.
I started my medication before I found the app. Can I add my history?
Yes. Every record is backdatable, so you can set the real date and time of past Shots and Weight records, and declare a Journey Start and Starting Weight. Your history counts from your chosen Journey Start rather than the day you installed the app.
Can I track more than one medication at the same time?
Yes, with Vialume Plus: Stacking lets you track multiple Active Medications, each with its own Dosing Schedule and reminders. Charts let you choose a Medication and remember that selection. Switching from one Medication to another is free. Whether combining Medications is appropriate is a question for your prescriber, not for an app.
Are the charts free, or behind a subscription?
Every chart of your own data is free, permanently — Weight trends, Actual Dose over time, side effects, protein and water, and the illustrative medication-level curve. Progress Photo capture is free too. Vialume Plus adds reminders, doctor-ready PDF reports, automatic Android backups, Progress Photo comparison and stats, and Stacking multiple Active Medications. Your existing records remain accessible without Plus.
Can I export my data or move it to another app?
Yes. Vialume exports a human-readable CSV and a complete single-file JSON backup that can be restored later. Both are available at any time on the free tier, because an app you cannot leave is an app that never has to earn the next year.
What happens to my data if I lose my phone?
Vialume cannot recover your records from a Vialume server because there is no server-side copy. Keep an exported backup somewhere you can access without the phone. Your operating system may also retain or restore app data according to its device backup settings, but do not assume that a usable backup exists.
Will reminders show my medication name on the lock screen?
Vialume Plus reminders offer Discreet mode, which replaces the Medication name with neutral wording. You can also control notification visibility in your phone's settings.
What does the main Weight trend show?
The main Weight trend keeps the selected period's Weight change, percentage lost or gained and average weekly change together on the graph, alongside a 7-day average. Choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. These summaries describe recorded Weight, not a promised result.
Can I track how many vials I have?
Yes. Tools contains an editable vial inventory for medication names, counts, strengths, optional volumes and notes. Use separate entries for different strengths or batches. Powder records mg per vial; liquid records mg/mL. A zero count means out of stock. Logging a Shot does not automatically reduce inventory.
Is vial inventory included in backups?
Yes. Full manual JSON backups and Plus automatic Android backups include vial inventory, even with goals excluded. Restoring an older backup that has no inventory leaves your current stock unchanged. Inventory itself is free to use.
What is in the peptide library?
The library explains commonly discussed peptides and links to research and regulatory sources. It distinguishes approved uses, clinical trials and limited evidence. It does not recommend use, doses, combinations or suppliers. The peptide calculator remains first in Tools, followed by vial inventory and the reference library.
Does the app tell me what dose to take?
No, and it never will. Vialume is a record-keeping tool, not a medical device. It does not give medical advice, does not recommend or adjust doses, and does not interpret side effects. Dosing decisions belong with your prescriber.
